This project took a long time to produce as it was put on hold for almost a year.
When it got back on production, I was the only environment artist on the project for a while, getting started with the environments and meeting with the supervisors and production department.
Once we had a bigger crew, I still had artistic tasks, but most of my time was occupied by managing and bug fixing tasks. I was in charge of training and helping all the new environment artist on the show as I was supervising the environments that were created by the team. We eventually had an official lead on the project, which I also trained on the company's pipeline and put up to date with all the work done in the pasts months.
In addition to the jungle environments and the managing tasks, I also worked on fixing the modeling of the pit Mowgli falls into. The original model we had had so many intertwined branches and leaves it was creating a lot of problems with the cfx and animation artists.
When the team became efficient and up and running, I went to help on Blade Runner 2049.
